Spurwink's ShifaME program seeks a highly collaborative, creative and flexible clinician to join our ShifaME program. This is a program that serves refugee and immigrant children and families impacted by traumatic stress. This is a team based model in which clinicians and Cultural Brokers work together in mental health service delivery. We are seeking a clinician who enjoys a combination of school based work with some home based family work.
This position is a three day fee for service position in East End Elementary School.
The ShifaME clinician will provide counseling services to refugee children at East End Elementary School. Clinicians will receive individual and group supervision as well as training and consultation in Trauma Systems Therapy adapted for Refugees (TSTR).
Clinicians must be licensed in the state of Maine or eligible for licensure as an LMSWcc, LCSW, LCPCc, or LCPC.
