School Based Clinician - Turner Elementary and Tripp Middle Schools

Spurwink is seeking a collaborative and highly motivated school-based clinician to join our Western Region School Counseling team. This is a full time, five day a week position split between Turner Elementary and Tripp Middle Schools, which are located on the same campus. This is a wonderful opportunity to provide individual and family therapy within a school setting, with ample opportunities for regular face-to-face collaboration with teachers and other school personnel. We offer a generous external training allowance, expense money for therapy supplies, license reimbursement, company laptop and cell phone. This position is year round with fee for service and salaried options available.

Duties:

Duties include conducting psychosocial assessments, treatment planning, and providing individual and family therapy. Further responsibilities include submission of KePRO managed care entries for MaineCare clients, clinical documentation and electronic record keeping. Interdisciplinary collaboration and strong networking skills are essential, as is flexibility to travel to homes to meet with families as needed.

Qualifications:

All applicants must possess a Master’s Degree in Social Work or Counseling, and Maine Licensure (LMSW-cc, LCSW, LCPC-c, or LCPC). New graduates are encouraged to apply!
