Opening for a nurse practitioner 20-32 hours a week. Come join a dynamic multi disciplinary team of professionals in providing outpatient medical evaluations for children that are suspected or confirmed of experiencing abuse. High quality supervision provided by a child abuse peditrician.
Work on a multi-disciplinary team that includes NP's, social workers, psychologists and child abuse pediatricians. Provider will be responsible for medical evaluations of children who have entered the foster care system due to child maltreatment and collaboration with providers/family in establishing a medical home for children. Exams of children suspected of abuse also a duty. NP will be responsible for clinical documentation through electronic health record, but other administrative supports are provided.
APRN licensure in Maine and Board Certification as FNP or PNP required. New FNP/PNP graduates are welcome. Pediatric experience preferred.
