Clinician - Resource Parent Care Team - Cumberland County- $2500 Sign On Bonus

The Resource Parent Care Team (RPCT) at Spurwink is a close-knit group of professionals tasked with helping foster/resource parents with the emotional, cognitive, and psychosocial aspects of caring for children in care. This position has a $2500 Sign On Bonus. 

 

Many positions include sign on bonuses that are available to full-time newly hired staff.  The first half of the sign on bonus ($1250) will be paid after 90 days of full-time employment and the second half of the sign on bonus ($1250) will be paid after six months of full time employment.  If a new hire changes status to either part-time or per diem status during any of that timeframe, they will forfeit the sign on bonus that is yet to be paid.   

 

Duties:

The RPCT Clinician will assess families’ needs, determine appropriate level of services, collaboratively develop goals, and provide CARE based trauma-informed support and interventions to licensed resource families.

 

 

Qualifications:

Must hold a master’s level degree in Social Work or a related field and a Maine state licensure at the LMSW/LCSW/LCPC conditional or independent level. Must have at least one year of clinical experience working with youth and families who have experienced trauma. At least one year of direct child welfare experience, or has worked with children and families with active child protective involvement. One year of evidence-based trauma-informed treatment preferred. Flexible schedule
