School Based Clinician- Sugg Middle/Lisbon High School - $1000 sign on bonus!

Spurwink is seeking a collaborative and highly motivated school-based clinician to join our Western Region Public School Counseling Team. This is a brand new position in an exciting new and growing partnership with the Lisbon School Department. The position is split between Lisbon High School and Philip W. Sugg Middle School, located on the same campus. The schools are conveniently located 10-15 minutes off of the Interstate 295 and 95. Within this position, there is a unique opportunity to provide temporary (February to May) FMLA coverage at Lisbon Community School, which will boost billing while building a caseload. This position will give someone a lot experience with individual and family therapy within a school setting, as well as collaboration with teachers and other school personnel. We offer a generous external training allowance, expense money for therapy supplies, license reimbursement, company laptop and cell phone. This is a year round position. Fee for service and salary option.

 

 

$1000 Sign on Bonus!

 

 

 

Many positions include sign on bonuses that are available to full-time newly hired staff.  The first half of the sign on bonus ($500) will be paid after 90 days of full-time employment and the second half of the sign on bonus ($500) will be paid after six months of full time employment.  If a new hire changes status to either part-time or per diem status during any of that timeframe, they will forfeit the sign on bonus that is yet to be paid.

 

Duties:

Duties include conducting psychosocial assessments, treatment planning, and providing individual and family therapy. Further responsibilities include submission of KePRO managed care entries for MaineCare clients, clinical documentation and electronic record keeping. Interdisciplinary collaboration and strong networking skills are essential, as is flexibility to travel to homes to meet with families as needed.

Qualifications:

All applicants must possess a Master’s Degree in Social Work or Counseling, and Maine Licensure (LMSW-cc, LCSW, LCPC-c, or LCPC). Full licensure preferred, but not required.
