Unit Supervisor - Awake Night - Temporary (3 Month)

These positions offer opportunities to work closely with teams of professionals with years of clinical supervision to design and implement evidenced-based interventions. As we launch our newly re-modeled and designed 16 –bed facility in Westbrook line we are looking to build the team that will make the difference. This is a tremendous opportunity for the right person who wants more than just a job. This position is best suited for individuals who crave a fast paced, dynamic environment and can embrace the learning opportunities offered in activity based programming.This is an awake night position and requires working from 11pm-9am weekdays 9:30pm to 9am weekend days; overnight staff and supervisors remain awake for that entire time and serve the needs of the clients.  This position is a temporary postion for 3 months. 

Duties:

The Unit Supervisor duties include:
Providing orientation, job shadowing, training to new staff members, which includes coaching, training, modeling, and on the floor supervision. Acting as positive role models for clients and direct care staff. Providing oversight of scheduling staff coverage in the residences. Performing Therapeutic Crisis Intervention, including assuring fidelity to the
client’s treatment plans. Assuring all paperwork is completed correctly and in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

Minimum Education Requirements: High school diploma; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Minimum Experience Requirements:
1. Two (2) years previous residential treatment experience in a field of behavioral health or education required.
2. Must have proven ability to nurture, manage, and develop relationships with clients.
3. Must have proven ability to work as a member of a treatment team and develop
professional relationships with co-workers.
4. Must have a demonstrated high level of competency to perform direct care/responsibilities and demonstrated capacity to provide on-the-job direction/training to direct care staff as needed.
