Outcome Data Analyst/ Administrative Assistant

Spurwink’s ShifaME program is a seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join the team as an Outcomes Data Analyst/ Administrative Assistant (ODA/AA.) ShifaME is serving refugee and immigrant families through a five-year grant provided by SAMHSA and is expanding to a third community in Portland/Westbrook in the fall of 2018. In this multifaceted role, the ODA/AA will support the day-to-day functioning of the program in three communities (Lewiston, Biddeford, and Portland/Westbrook) in addition to managing required grant reporting and robust evaluation. The successful candidate will demonstrate an excitement for being part of a multicultural team, a willingness to adapt to changes as this program continues to grow, and a dedication to supporting immigrants and refugees. The ODA/AA must also be skilled in organization, time management, and written and verbal communication.
-Monitor, oversee, and troubleshoot the pragmatics of data collection activities at sites
-Manage evaluation processes with contracted team at Boston Children’s Hospital Refugee Trauma and Resilience Center
-Manage grant-specific federal government data bases and complete quarterly and annual grant reporting
-Provide daily support to program staff through tracking due dates, sending reminders, running reports, etc.
-Assist with managing client records in electronic database Evolv (enrollments, discharges, scanning, etc.)
-Maintain communication by phone or email with program staff and other agency staff (finance, HR, Accounts Payable, etc) as needed.
-Occasionally drive to Lewiston and Biddeford locations to support staff in-person
-Handle employee and client information with strict confidentiality in accordance with the agency’s policies and HIPAA.
Bachelor's degree required. Prior work with Word, Excel, and database software is critical. Relevant work experience preferred.
