Public School Clinician- Lewiston schools
|Employment Type:||Fee for Service|
Spurwink is seeking dynamic, collaborative and highly motivated school-based clinicians to join our Western Region Public School Counseling Team. We have 3-4 positions available in multiple Lewiston schools that could be full time (4-5 days per week) or part time (3 days per week) depending on the setting and/or the candidate's needs. This is a wonderful opportunity to provide individual and family therapy within a school setting, with ample opportunities for regular face-to-face collaboration with teachers and other school personnel. Spurwink provides internal continuing education and training opportunities as well as individual and group clinical supervision. In addition, we offer a generous external training allowance, expense money for therapy supplies, license reimbursement, company laptop and cell phone.
Duties include conducting psychosocial assessments, treatment planning, and providing individual and family therapy. Further responsibilities include submission of KePRO managed care entries for MaineCare clients, clinical documentation and electronic record keeping. Interdisciplinary collaboration and strong networking skills are essential, as is flexibility to travel to homes to meet with families as needed.
All applicants must possess a Master’s Degree in Social Work or Counseling, and Maine Licensure (LMSW-cc, LCSW, LCPC-c, or LCPC). New graduates are encouraged to apply!
