Senior Application Programmer Analyst - $1000 Sign on Bonus

Spurwink Services seeks a strongly qualified Senior Application Programmer/Analyst to work with our information systems to assist with ongoing implementation and support. (This is not an entry level position.)
$1000 Sign on Bonus!!
Many positions include sign on bonuses that are available to full-time newly hired staff. The first half of the sign on bonus ($500) will be paid after 90 days of full-time employment and the second half of the sign on bonus ($500) will be paid after six months of full time employment. If a new hire changes status to either part-time or per diem status during any of that timeframe, they will forfeit the sign on bonus that is yet to be paid.
The new Senior Application Programmer/Analyst uses Spurwink information systems (CMHC/MIS, Evolv, Abila) and Microsoft software to complete daily system/data integrity checks, develop and maintain forms, scripts and reports that meet or exceed business requirements. You’ll work with various business areas including, but not limited to Finance, Human Resources and clinical departments. As an Senior Application Programmer/ Analyst , you will provide exceptional customer services to system users with a wide variety of skill sets.
Education and Experience Required: Bachelor’s Degree in related field of study or commensurate work experience required.
Minimum Experience Requirements: This position will serve as a Senior Application Programmer/Analyst working with Spurwink information systems to assist with ongoing implementation and support. Potential candidates must be able to:
Use Spurwink information systems and Microsoft software to develop and maintain forms, scripts and reports that meet or exceed business requirements.
Work with various business areas including but not limited to Financial, Human Resource, Senior Leadership and Clinical Departments.
Lead analysis efforts with these various business areas. Coordinate design, develop and test solutions as defined.
Provide exceptional customer service to system users with a variety of skill sets.
Versatility is required; applicants will need the ability to independently manage a variety of tasks, variety of users and the ability to change gears quickly when required.
4+ years of experience working with SQL or other integrated database applications.
4+ years of experience with the analysis, design, development and implementation of graphical front end system forms or other similar applications.
4+ years of experience with data and/or systems conversion and knowledge of a Software Development Life Cycle.
4+ years experience with Business Intelligence, Microsoft Access/VB, Excel, Crystal Reports, SSRS or other comparable reporting tools.
4+ years upgrading application systems across a variety of platforms and databases (Unix, SQL, Windows, Web Based)
Experience working in a healthcare environment (medical or mental health) is helpful.
Ability to present information in effective written, verbal and graphical formats.
