Public School Clinician - Leeds Central School

Spurwink is seeking a collaborative and highly motivated clinician to join our Public School Counseling team. This part-time position is based at Leeds Central School, serving grades kindergarten through 5th grade. This position would start at 2 days per week, with the possibility of growth to 3 days. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal and networking skills. This is a wonderful opportunity to provide individual and family therapy within a school setting, with ample opportunities for regular face-to-face collaboration with teachers and other school personnel. We offer a generous external training allowance, internal training opportunities, expense money for therapy supplies, travel reimbursement, license reimbursement, a company laptop and smartphone. This is a year round, fee for service position.
Duties include conducting psychosocial assessments, treatment planning, and providing individual and family therapy. Further responsibilities include clinical documentation and electronic record keeping. Interdisciplinary collaboration and strong networking skills are essential, as is flexibility to travel to homes to meet with families as needed.
All applicants must possess a Master’s Degree in Social Work or Counseling, and be eligible for Maine Licensure (LMSW-cc, LCSW, LCPC-c, or LCPC).
