Program Supervisor - Public School Counseling

Spurwink is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic case-carrying clinical supervisor to join our Public School Counseling program in Cumberland county. Responsibilities will include providing clinical supervision (individual and group) to our school-based clinicians AND providing school-based counseling support to children in families in one of our partner schools. This is a wonderful opportunity to be part of a dynamic and collaborative team. This is a salaried position and the candidate has the ability to earn additional incentive pay if productivity expectations are exceeded. Spurwink provides internal continuing education and training opportunities as well as individual and group clinical supervision. The Clinical Supervisor will take part in the hiring, training and supervision of Public School Counseling staff. They will assure that employees maintain current client records and documentation according to Spurwink and licensing standards. Clinical supervisor will provide individual supervision and co-facilitate group supervision as well as monthly staff meetings.
Duties of the public school counselor include conducting psychosocial assessments, treatment planning, and providing individual and family therapy. Interdisciplinary collaboration and strong networking skills are essential, as is flexibility to travel to homes to meet with families as needed. Further responsibilities include submission of KePRO managed care entries for MaineCare clients, clinical documentation and electronic record keeping.
All applicants must possess a Master’s Degree in Social Work or Counseling, and Maine Licensure (LCSW or LCPC).
