Trauma Systems Therapy for Refugees Clinician

Spurwink Services seeks a clinician to join the ShifaMe program a National Child Traumatic Stress Network Initiative. This is a unique program that utilizes Trauma Systems Therapy adapted for refugees as a best practice in refugee mental health.
The clinician will provide therapy services for refugee and immigrant children and their families impacted by traumatic stress associated with trauma, isolation, acculturation and resettlement.
Clinicians in this program work in close partnership with Cultural Brokers. Clinical work is a blend of school based and home based services depending on the needs of families.
* The clinician will provide therapy to children utilizing Trauma Systems Therapy adapted for refugees (TSTR).
*The clinician will co-facilitate groups for refugee and immigrant children in the public schools.
*The clinician will participate in individual and group supervisions that support the delivery of TSTR.
*The clinician will receive training and consultation in TSTR.
*The clinician will document all clinical work in Spurwink's electronic record system as required by Spurwink and mandated licensing requirements.
Clinicians must licensed in the state of Maine or eligible for licensure as an LMSWcc, LCSW, LCPCc, or LCPC.
