The Lewiston/Auburn program is seeking a full time Ed-tech III to work with students that have behavioral, emotional and developmental disabilities.
$500 sign on bonus!!
Many positions include sign on bonuses that are available to full-time newly hired staff. The first half of the sign on bonus ($250) will be paid after 90 days of full-time employment and the second half of the sign on bonus ($250) will be paid after six months of full time employment. If a new hire changes status to either part-time or per diem status during any of that timeframe, they will forfeit the sign on bonus that is yet to be paid.
Successful candidates will be able to work independently as well as with a strong team skilled at providing emotional, behavioral and academic support. Specific duties include but are not limited to: assist in the preparation of instructional materials, participate in classroom supervision, complete on going agency training, provide a therapeutic milieu with the support of educational and clinical staff, and communicate effectively with staff and students.
At least 90 college credit hours of post-secondary education; Bachelor’s degree preferred. Must apply and meet DOE criteria as an Educational Technician III or already be certified.
