Spurwink's Functional Family Therapist (FFT) works within a family focused and strength-based model. The FFT clinician provides family therapy in a home-based and office-based setting using the evidenced-based, nationally recognized Blueprint family treatment model. FFT is a brief therapy model that ranges in length from 8-30 weeks with a total of 12-14 sessions. Clinicians in this program receive specialized, out of state, training as well as supervision provided by a trained, on-site supervisor. Ongoing consultation is provided with a national FFT consultant, including annual training. Clinician will be part of a collaborative, innovative clinical team and will receive weekly group and individual supervision. Cell phone, laptop, mileage reimbursement, and remote access to electronic health record will be provided. Flexible work schedule and some evening hours and travel required.
The FFT Clinician assists with at-risk youth and their families in making incremental, positive changes that lead to enhanced family functioning and reduced risk. Clinician is responsible for conducting evidenced based treatment, psychosocial assessment, individualized service plans, and active collaboration with team members and other providers (case managers, corrections workers, schools, etc).
LMSW, LCPC, LMSW-cc, LCPC-c or LMF. New graduates will be considered.
