Multicultural Case Manager and Cultural Broker

Spurwink Services is seeking a children's Targeted Case Manager to join a program that provides both case management and mental health services to refugee children. In the Cultural Broker role the candidate will assist a counselor in understanding the client's culture and interpret at family meetings regarding the client's mental health treatment. This candidate will be highly organized, have good time management skills, an appreciation for ongoing professional learning in social services and computer skills. Computer systems training is provided for all candidates.
Case Managers and Cultural Brokers are required to have excellent communication skills.
Use of own car (with mileage reimbursement) is necessary.
Responsibilities of the ShifaME Case Manager/Cultural Broker include providing assessments when clients are referred, developing and monitoring service plans, documenting progress and assisting the family in accessing resources. This position also includes co-facilitating school based groups for refugee children
High School Diploma required, Bachelors Degree preferred
