Public School Clinician - Tripp Middle School $500 Sign On Bonus

Spurwink Services is a seeking a collaborative and highly motivated school-based clinician to join our Western Region Public School Counseling team. This is a fee for service, three day per week position located at Tripp Middle School, which serves grades 7 and 8. This is a wonderful opportunity to provide individual and family therapy within a school setting, with ample opportunities for regular face-to-face collaboration with teachers and other school personnel. High quality supervision is provided as well as many internal opportunities for growth and development. Currently, Spurwink is offering specialized training opportunities in evidence-based practices such as ARC, DBT, co-occurring treatment, and more. In addition, we offer a generous training allowance for professional development outside of Spurwink, expense money for therapy supplies, license reimbursement, company laptop and cell phone. This is a year round, fee for service position.
$500 Sign on Bonus!!
Many positions include sign on bonuses that are available to full-time newly hired staff. The first half of the sign on bonus ($250) will be paid after 90 days of full-time employment and the second half of the sign on bonus ($250) will be paid after six months of full time employment. If a new hire changes status to either part-time or per diem status during any of that timeframe, they will forfeit the sign on bonus that is yet to be paid.
Duties include conducting psychosocial assessments, treatment planning, and providing individual and family therapy. Further responsibilities include submission of KePRO managed care entries for MaineCare clients, clinical documentation and electronic record keeping. Interdisciplinary collaboration and strong networking skills are essential, as is flexibility to travel to homes to meet with families as needed.
All applicants must possess a Master’s Degree in Social Work or Counseling, and Maine Licensure (LMSW-cc, LCSW, LCPC-c, or LCPC). New graduates are encouraged to apply!
